Drive ways

Your driveway stall is open all day — now everyone can pay, even without cash

The problem

Half the people walking past your stall don't carry cash any more

You've got a nice little setup at the end of the drive — eggs on the shelf, a price list, and a tin for the money. But the tin never quite adds up. Some people leave IOUs. Some just take and hope for the best. And the ones who would have paid? They didn't have the right change, so they walked on by. It's not that your neighbours are dishonest. It's that nobody carries coins any more, and your stall hasn't got a way to deal with that — until now.

How it works

Three steps. That's it.

Set up your honesty box in minutes. No apps to learn, no forms to fill. Just a QR code and your Stripe account.

List what you sell

Sign up, name your stall (even just your house name or road), and add your products — eggs, firewood, jam, whatever you put out. Set your prices and you're done.

Display your QR code

Print it and pin it to your shelf, tape it to the table, or order a Welsh slate plaque that'll sit nicely next to the honesty box. Put it where customers can't miss it.

Customers scan and pay

They point their phone at the code, pick what they're taking, and pay by card. You see every transaction on your dashboard — even from inside the house.

Questions

Everything you need to know about taking card payments at your stall

Do buyers need an app?

No. Your buyer just opens their phone camera, scans the QR code, and they're straight into the payment screen. No download, no fuss. Works on any smartphone.

Do I need a business account?

You'll need a Stripe account, which takes about five minutes to set up. That's it. No special business registration needed, and you can start taking payments the same day.

What if someone enters the wrong amount?

You see the amount before the payment goes through. If it's wrong, you can ask them to cancel and try again. Simple as that. You're always in control.

Can I use it anywhere?

Anywhere with mobile signal or WiFi. Boot fairs, car parks, markets, fields—wherever you're selling. The QR code works as long as your phone can connect.

Is it safe?

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, one of the world's largest payment processors. Your customers' card details never touch your phone. You're protected, they're protected.
